Our children have so many milestones in their lives, but often those tween years are forgotten about. We want to give an experience to tweens to honor the season of life they're in and help capture and show their amazing personalities and who they are RIGHT NOW, just as God designed them

About the Project
As photographers, we take pictures of so many milestones, especially with high school seniors, but where we see a gap in "moment documentation" is during the tween years. As parents of 4 children ourselves, we understand that this time goes too quickly and you never get it back. We see the importance of capturing these years, their wonderful smiles, the activities and sports they love and practice for hours a week and their personalities right where they're at, in this time. Don't wait until they're a high school senior. Capture the moment NOW.
What is involved in this project:
Once you apply, we'll schedule a studio visit with you and your tween (10-13 years old) to fill you in on the details and to meet your child and get to know them and what they love. From there, we'll schedule their photoshoot. This project is about capturing images of your tween and tweens around the four state area, to build their confidence, give you a forever portrait to hang on your wall, and then to display your tween's picture in an exhibit at Spiva Art Gallery in Joplin, MO during 2026. There are limited spots, so don't miss out!

About Kobie & Tyler
We are Kobie & Tyler, a husband and wife photography team out of Joplin, MO. We love all types of photography, but our favorite thing to photograph is High School seniors, because we love getting to showcase who they are in the season they're in, which is why we came up with "Uniquely You."
This is a special time in their lives where they are starting to learn who they are, what they believe and who they want to be. That's why we work closely with each student to create a personalized and unique photo experiences that reflect their individual styles and personalities. We get to know your child so they feel relaxed and comfortable during their session, giving you images you love to display.
Just as no child is the same, we are also unique in that each of us has our own distinct photography style. Tyler leans to light and airy and Kobie favors more dark and moody. Together, we make the perfect team, able to capture all the different personalities of our clients.
