We’re opening the doors of Be Still Photography Studio for two immersive days dedicated to senior photography—from the first click of the shutter to the final sale. This isn’t a workshop where you sit in the back of the room, take a few notes, and go home with a folder full of information you may or may not ever use. You’re going to get involved. We’ll teach, demonstrate, shoot, edit, answer questions, troubleshoot, and share the real-world strategies behind creating a senior photography experience that clients love.

WHAT WE’LL COVER 

LIGHTING - Learn how to see and shape light instead of simply hoping for good light. We’ll break down our approach to lighting senior portraits and show you how small changes can dramatically impact your images. 

POSING & DIRECTION - Knowing where to put someone’s hands is one thing. Knowing how to make a senior actually feel comfortable, confident, and natural in front of your camera is another. We’ll demonstrate posing and direction techniques you can take directly into your next senior session.  

EDITING - Bring the images to life. We’ll walk through our editing approach and show you how we take an image from camera to finished portrait while creating a consistent, intentional look. 

SALES - Great photography is only part of the business. We’ll talk about the sales side of senior photography and how to create an experience that helps clients understand the value of what you do—from the session itself to the products and services you offer. 

AND THEN… WE SHOOT. This is where things get really fun. Throughout the workshop, you’ll have the opportunity to photograph real high school seniors in interactive shoots. You won't just watch us pose and photograph them. You'll get to see the process, ask questions, experiment, and put what you've learned into practice. You'll experience what it's like to work through a real senior session—from lighting and posing to creating the images and making creative decisions on the fly.
